Speak & TalkSpeak – is usually more formal or serious than talk

Talk – is usually used for informal or for causal commutation
- We are going to talk to Jenni.
- Your sister wants to talk to me.
- My teacher wants to talk to my mother.
- Did you talk to the people upstairs?
Speak & Talk - are used interchangeable in most cases
