- Unattractive - Your dress is unattractive to me. I like the other dress much more.
- Plain-looking - Those glasses are very plan-looking. I think the brown glasses look better on you.
- Horrible - That picture looks horrible. I really do not like the colors.
- Awful - The sofa looks awful. I think you should buy a new sofa.
- Monstrous - That snake looks monstrous. I do not know what kind of snake it is, but it is very large.
- Ghastly - I went on holiday, and the hotel looked ghastly. It was a really horrible place to stay.
- Appalling - Those shoes are appalling. I hope you do not buy them.
- Grotesque - The food really looks grotesque. I do not want to eat.
- Nasty - The cake looks nasty. I do not want any cake.
- Unpleasant - The building site is very unpleasant to look at. I hope they finish soon.
